Minimum Order Value
The minimum order value lets you set a threshold so that only orders above a certain amount trigger environmental impact. This helps you manage costs by skipping impact on smaller orders.
How it works
When you set a minimum order value, 1ClickImpact checks the cart subtotal of each order before triggering impact:
- Orders at or above the threshold trigger impact as normal
- Orders below the threshold are skipped — no impact is created and nothing is charged
The minimum order value is checked against the cart subtotal, which is the total before shipping and taxes are applied.
When is it available?
The minimum order value setting is only available when your trigger mode is set to Per Order. It does not apply to other trigger modes like Per Product, Customer Choice, Fixed Monthly, or Pause.
Setting the minimum order value
- Go to the Setup page in the 1ClickImpact app
- Select Per Order as your trigger mode
- Enter your minimum order value
- Save your changes
Customer add-on purchases still work on orders below the minimum value. Since the customer pays for add-ons, they are processed regardless of the order subtotal.
Choosing the right threshold
Consider your average order value and margins when setting this threshold. For example:
- If your average order is $50, setting a minimum of $25 would cover most orders while skipping very small ones
- If you sell low-priced items, you might skip the minimum entirely to ensure every order creates impact
Setting this to $0 (or leaving it empty) means every order triggers impact, which is the same as not having a minimum.
